Front desk
The Front Desk is open 9am-7pm daily in the off-season. To locate the front desk: Upon entering the ViewPoint property, stay left and continue up to the top of the hill until you see your first open area on the right. In the event of a non-medical emergency (example, a lockout - it happens to the best of us!) there is an after-hours phone number to call.
Reservation deposit
A deposit equal to one-night's stay is required and payable at time of booking to confirm all reservations. Reservations of 7 or more nights will require a deposit equal to half of the entire stay. The balance of the reservation is due and payable upon arrival. Pre-Pay reservations require payment in full at time of booking and are non-refundable and non-transferable.We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards.
Cancellation Policy
Due to the size and seasonal nature of our business, cancellations affect us significantly. Room charges cannot be void after check-in. We cannot take responsibility for changes to your reservation due to inclement weather, unforeseen changes to travel plans, personal sickness or injury, or family emergencies. No refund is provided for late arrivals, early departures, no-shows, or weather-related cancellations. Changes or cancellations to reservations MUST be made directly through the party you booked.30+ days' notice: full refund of deposit ~ 14-29 days' notice: refund of deposit minus $25 cancellation fee ~ Less than 14 days' notice: deposit is non-refundable. Pre-Pay rate is non-refundable.
Smoke-Free Property
The ViewPoint Hotel is pleased to offer a smoke-free environment and hotel. There is a designated area between the pool house and pool. There is no smoking cigarettes, cigars, illegal substances, vapes, or vape pens in the suites, on the decks, on the patios or anywhere other than the designated smoking area.There will be a fee assessed for smoking in the suites, on the decks, porches and patios, or anywhere on the grounds, and may result in removal from the property.
Occupancy
Hotel Occupancy is limited to two guests per bedroom. One-bedroom units allow up to two guests. Two-bedroom units allow up to four guests. To preserve the peace and tranquility of the ViewPoint, we do not allow additional guests beyond our standard occupancy, and do not provide sleeper sofas or cots. Pet Policy
The ViewPoint Hotel is a completely pet-free property. We do not allow pets inside or on hotel property, which could result in a fine and/or removal from the property.Under the Americans with Disabilities Act we do allow certified service dogs that have been trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. Emotional support animals do not fall under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Text message policy
By booking, you authorize the Viewpoint to send text messages and emails with details regarding your reservation information and other offers. Message and and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-In is at 4pm and Check-Out is at 11am. Please contact us prior to your arrival if you expect to arrive after the Front Desk closes so we can arrange for a contactless check-in. If departing before the Front Desk opens please leave your keys in the drop box located outside the Office door. Due to our limited parking, vehicles must be moved at time of check-out.
Parking
The ViewPoint offers 1 complimentary parking space per bedroom, per suite. An electric vehicle charging station is available and is on a first come, first served basis.There will be a $25/vehicle per night charge for additional vehicles.Vehicles must be registered at the Front Desk. Vehicles not registered with the Front Desk may be subject to being towed.
Events
Please note that at certain times during the year, the hotel may host functions and events on the grounds. All events must be coordinated with the hotel in advance. Any event not coordinated with the hotel may be subject to a fee or removal.
Amenities
Amenities include but are not limited to pool and pool towels, complimentary beach chair, beach towel and beach game rentals from our Stones Throw Beach Club, fitness studio, the grounds, and business center, usage in season and when available. Certain amenities such as the pool may have adults-only hours. A welcome beverage is included in room price at time of check-in.These amenities are for the exclusive use of ViewPoint guests. For the comfort and enjoyment of all, outside guests are not permitted.
